FOGSI South Zonal Conference with YUVA 2025 were begun in 2001 to encourage the participation of Young Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in academics and research and give them a platform to share their knowledge. YUVA FOGSI Conferences are held in all the 4 zones of India every year.

New Innovations and Controversies are the norm in any field. The New Concepts are subjected to analyses and accepted on the basis of evidence as Guidelines and Concepts. Accordingly, the Theme of our Conference is “Controversies, Consensus and Current Concepts” with the aim of “Setting Standards High”.

The venue of the conference Ooty is a resort town in the Western Ghats. It was founded by the British as a summer resort in 1799.There are many places which reminds us about the colonial past even today-The Nilgiris Mountain Railway, The Stone House, St. Stephen Church of the 18th Century and the sprawling Botanical Gardens which provide a pleasing visual treat. Ooty is well connected by Road, Rail and Air via the Coimbatore International Airport.
